This kit is great. It has everything that one would need to do some plumbing work. The tool is heavy duty and the pinch rings worked flawlessly. Great value for the price.

I started with the idea of just moving a water heater but instead re-piped my entire (small) house with PEX after seeing how easy this kit is to use.For the price, this kit is hard to beat and if you're planning on using coil PEX I would strongly recommend it. The cinch system is amazing, I have installed over 150 cinches and haven't had a single leak (knock on wood). The quality of the fittings and cinch clamps is very similar to SharkBite and the pipe seems very sturdy and resilient.I did have an issue with the cinch tool, which could not be adjusted to spec. I chose to purchase a SharkBite cinch tool which worked great and cinched 150+ clamps without needing adjustment. The SharkBite tool is much higher quality but costs about 1/3 of this kit. However, Efield not only sent me a replacement tool (priority mail) which will be great for a backup, but provided a modest refund to cover the cost of some extra clamps that I had to re-do. This was all done automatically by Efield in response to my concern about the clamp tool. The customer service went above and beyond.A few things to keep in mind:* a tee will use 3 cinches, you will probably go through these very fast. I haven't noticed any difference between the SharkBite/Oetiker brand and these.* you will probably need more tees, and elbows. While PEX is "flexible", PEX B is not as flexible as I expected and it's easier to just add a fitting for a 90 degree bend. We tried using those PEX metal bend guides and I would not recommend them at all, as it was impossible to fit the pipe into them.* you will probably want to pick up straight PEX from the hardware store for any exposed PEX, as coil PEX is very different to keep straight, especially with little support.

I ordered the 3/4 pex kit to update some plumbing in my house from galvanized pipe. I removed galvanized elbows and used brass fittings I got from home depot to switch to the pex. I used the provided clamps, cutter, and crimper for installation. They all worked perfectly and I didn't have any leaks. I noticed an immediate increase in water pressure which was a huge plus. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and price of the complete kit as well as the ease of the install. This is the most extensive plumbing work I've ever done, and I'll use pex from now on.
