Rigged with a VMC Saltwater 2.0 hook and has an internal 1/2 oz. weight for great casting distance. The Vudu Mullet is a medium sink lure and best with a medium retrieve. A stop n go retrieve is very effective. Crank a few times then let it fall for a second, then crank it again. Can be burned along the surface also.

This has been the perfect lure for fishing. We have all the different colors and sizes of this brand and love them all! A definite go to fishing lure.

This thing looks alive in the water. Just caught a 6lb large mouth bass on it. I'm sold.

Super realistic! I have caught peacock bass and tilapia in fresh water. I have not tried saltwater yet.

This lure has caught Spanish mackerel, ladyfish, remora and tarpon for me. The only problem is they dont last too long with the toothy saltwater species.

It worked great while it lasted. I think it made 2 or 3 trips before it finally came up with the tail missing. I did catch about 40-50 trout with it before it broke. Would buy quite a few more if it was $3 to $4 each but a bit hesitant at $8. I have about the same luck with DOA shrimp and they are quite a bit cheaper; or i could toss the cast net and bait for free....

One tough (and effective) bait! It was slammed by an alligator gar in brackish water feeding on bait fish off an oyster reef. I set the hook and fought the monster for almost an hour and a half. When I finally landed it, the gar was just under 5 feet long and full of teeth! The lure looked like it was almost brand new. Sharp strong hooks and tough body!
