En remplacement du système de base fournis avec la pompe Eiheim, il est modulable en longueur et possède un bouchon près de l’emboîtement du tuyau qui peut aider à réamorcer la pompe et peut également permettre de passer le goupillon pour nettoyer le tuyau.

works for 16/20mm tubing.just like all eheim product, costly.however, i like that the color is subdued grey which is not really visible in the tank.All the parts is same as the installation set for 494 except for the part connecting the tubing.perhaps next time, i should look for the tubing connector part since i already have the intake set for 494.also the good thing is the intake strainer is replaceable with the green one that come with eheim filter (or one come from 494 set).I use the below sponge to wrap the strainer.Cut into half and the sponge can be put on 2 strainers.this allow me to quick change the strainer on water change/aquarium cleaning.

I'm using the intake on a . Having great success with the Eheim spray bar (The product is typical Eheim -- great design and well built. Its longer and better fit for my 29 Gallon tank, with 4" high substrate. (with only using 2 of the 3 tube sections.) The flow in to the intake is slower, than the stock Fluval intake, but the same or higher volume, due to the larger intake area. I'm hoping it will swallow fewer of my feeder shrimp.The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Frankly all you need to do is look at the diagram and everything makes sense. It's a quality product, thoughtful designed and well made.It fits well in my 29G tank.*It should work with all the Fluval canister filters in the '04, '05 and '06 series. It works fine with my Fluval 206.
