Wish they came with a piece of cork or rubber tip protector. Some a bit crooked but they will work for our purposes. Going to use them for pottery. If they were uniform and came in anything other than bubble wrap to protect the sharp ends Iād be more happy.

Good once you have sandpapered down the handles, as the wood will give you splinters otherwise.

Raw wood handles rough to the touch, one has obvious burl on handle. Should be sanded and with a better finish on handles. Needles not seated in center, most off center and some crookedly seated.

The quality of the handle is really really bad. It is not polished so the texture is rough. It can definitely hurt your hands unless you wear gloves or something.

just what i was looking for, at a reasonable price. they were not top quality (some of the needles were inserted at a slant) but fine for my purposes.

A sturdy and very helpful tool in many kinds of crafting ... I use mine for sewing (pushing things under the presser foot to avoid the needle hitting my fingers), craft (to hold small items while gluing), beading, even in the kitchen. The wood handle makes this dissection needle easy to handle - and is large enough for those who have hand use issues - and the needle is both long enough and sturdy enough to be very useful. A very handy tool!

The handle is a little fatter than I am used to with other dissecting needles. Also, the wood is rough - I took some fine sandpaper and smoothed it out - it was catching on the gauze pads I would clean with. Once sanded down and I adjusted to the thickness, they work great! I recommend as long as buyers are aware they will need to smooth the handles out a little bit.

This is the perfect tool for moving sewing projects that consist of narrow hems under the presser foot when starting the corner. It works much better then the "purple thang". The dissecting needle has a very sharp and narrow point. It is easy to insert the point into the corner of a narrow hem and guide the fabric through the presser foot.
