I did not need a hood catch. However, I needed to replace a worn closure on a cooler. They are well made and so easy to install. Great for patio furniture storage closets and deck storage benches. The stainless steel will last in any weather and the rubber is thick and pliable .My next project I will use these on will be to keep a set of home made wood car ramps together. This is the perfect item for that! This is a wonderful find and a great value!!
