I recently had an investigation of sink flies that were taking over the house. The conventional method of spraying chemicals, laying traps and a plain fly swatter weren't getting the job done.I found a host of electric swatters and struggled finding the best fit for my needs. I needed something that could arrive quickly, could swivel to reach hard to get places, safe around kids, easy to use, rechargeable, and was loud as you'd as you'd expect it to be as it zaps bugs (a little snap). The blue light isn't extremely bright and I'm not sure if that's helpful since these sink fly and gnats aren't much attracted to light rather than sink areas and the ACV traps.This product works well so far. I used it straight from the box for a continuous 20 minutes. Because I am short, I would have liked it to swivel flat against the ceiling to reach the smarter ones. Also, maybe it's just me, but not all swings zap bugs as they escape.

La utilizo en la noche antes de acostarme y me sorprende cada sonido atronador cuando los moscos se estrellan e mi raqueta, cuando la apago queda cargada, así que cuando veo algun mosquito en las paredes solo la enciendo y la pongo encima, prácticamente deshace a los insectos

This does exactly what it says, zaps flying insects big and small. I had a fruit fly problem in a previous apt, always 1 or 2 flying around. I did not think this would work as the fruit flys were too small to touch the inside and outside electrodes...but they were...zapped them with one pass. It has a feature where you can set it up while plugged in and it will serve as a stand alone bug zapper (a bit loud as can be expected so it will startle you), but it attracts them to an extent and bam.One point of caution would be that the base is fairly light, so when you stand it on its own it can easily be tipped over. But if you are looking for a permanent solution, I would just use a bit of double sided tape or a couple small screws....otherwise it's definitely not falling over on its own...but can if it gets bumped.

Grabbed this to replace a bargain-bin 2750volt racket I have had for some time. The multi-function capability of this is value all its own, being capable of serving as a stand-up or wall-hanging zapper, a mobile zapper when working in the shed, or as a racket when things need to get a bit more personal. The zap it produces is aggressive and effective. I can immediately tell the difference from the 2750v racket I have just in the loudness of the POP it produces on contact. The only complaint I would have is that the cord it comes with is a bit short, but that can easily be replaced.

Works great! Much better than other similar ones we have bought in the past. "Zap!" noises heard instantly when we lightly brushed this zapper along the curtain above our kitchen sink where fruit flies like to hang out...now, they are all gone! Very satisfied with this bug zapper.

This baby WORKS. Brought her on a camping trip and she was indispensable. It took the dogs a couple days to get used to the ZAP but well worth having to calm nervous dogs. Good, solid construction , and the charge lasts a long time. And sooooooo satisfying when you see a mosquito in your tent and then actually kill it *before* it bites you.

Doesn't zap and kill, it zap and stuns making you kill it yourself by squashing a fly. Doesn't tell me when to charge, i figure it out when i hit a fly it doesn't zap. Worst zapper purchase.

Great little electric bug swatter for the deck.It doesn't hold a charge for too long but it does charge pretty quickly.Design is such you can turn on as needed (but honestly, it's pretty hard to use it to get at a specific bug) or just leave it one for a while and it does work very well - although is pretty loud when it zaps a bug and pretty much always makes me jump when it does it because I'm never expecting it!

Okay, so just hear me out...I promise it's most likely maybe or not worth the read at least...I frigging am in love with this thing, and have plans to purchase a few more.You may find yourself sitting there asking "Why should in Hades should I spend my cash on this sketchy looking contraption?"Why? I'll tell you a few reasons why...1.) I despise Flies & Gnats with a unfettered burning passion. Let's just say I like Flies & Gnats about a much as I like Steven Seagal & his acting.All are practically useless & painfully annoying...🙄2.) I have AuDHD and like zappy things...Then the MOST important reason that I ❤️ this thing...3. It saved me from falling apart emotionally...It just so happened it came the the day I almost fell apart. You see, yesterday morning my Grandmother passed away. It was like a punch to the gut...I was like a hammer to the heart and felt all the joy I had in me was sucked right out. After I ecieved the news that crushed whatever was left of my soul, I hung up the phone, shattered. I was left barely holding entrusted l every bit of composure that I had left together...Let me tell you what...The Fly & Gnat unaliving spree that this funny looking electric tennis racket shaped deliverer of flying pest ☠️ allowed my middle aged squirrel chasing, doom drawer having, dino nuggie eating, cat collecting AuDHD having arse to have might have helped keep together whatever pieces of me were left unbroken...If you made it this far?Just buy the dang thing already, you know you want it...Buy it...Buy it or you'll make my Grandma sad in the afterlife...Just kidding...Or am I?You'll never know...
