I think this is the perfect size for a garlic mincer. I've had others in the past that were much larger and would take up too much cabinet space. I'm talking maybe an inch taller or so, but if you're just cooking for yourself or one other, that little bit of space is important! Especially for cleanup as well. Really nice that I can just plug it into any USB port available.

This electric herb grinder does an OK job with grinding, I’ve tried garlic and peanuts so far with pretty good results. Why 3 stars? First, the motor is very load and sounds like it is struggling. That may be related to the second problem, the battery barely holds any charge. When I received the grinder the battery was completely dead. I charged it for several hours and the unit finally started working but it was acting strange. I’d push the button and it would spin for 1-2 seconds than stop. After another charge session it finally works long enough to some chopping but it requires constant recharging. I suspect the issue is that this unit was made in 2021 and I received it in December 2025, the battery may have be damaged from sitting for so long without a charge. Hopefully if you get one it is a newer unit.

I like that this has a safety feature that doesn't engage the blade until the base on it has magnets embedded in the base. Mine came completely dead and I had to charge it before use. It charges with a USB micro b connector and I do not like this I wish it was USB type-c. The lid not locking on is irritating and overall I do not recommend it.
