This did not come with instructions, so I had no clue how to use it, never using one before. After I figured out when you unlock it, there are two sizes. Unlocking it was very hard for me because my hands are not very strong and it was very tight. And then I had to figure out that you have to push the machine over the whole top of the jar to get it to work. It did work fine, and the lids were sealed. Instructions would have been useful to me because this machine was not obvious to me. It seems to be decent quality and a good value for the money. I hope this helps!

This vacuum sealer is working very well after I figured out how to use it. I was using it with the jar lid ring which made fitting the sealer on the jar difficult. Once I stopped using the ring it is working fantastic! I just wait until the unit sounds labored in vacuuming I stop (about 15 seconds). The fact that it fits the regular and large mouth jars made it versatile. The rechargeable battery completes this wonderful sealer kit.

I liked that it worked well on wide mouth jar but was disappointed when working on regular mouth jars
