I've been using this warming mat for a few weeks now, and I'm impressed by how well it keeps food at serving temperature. It's perfect for those times when you're preparing a multi-course meal and need to keep sides warm while you finish the main dish. The mat is lightweight and rolls up nicely for easy storage—a great feature for kitchens with limited space. The raised design ensures that your countertop or dining table doesn't get heated, which I appreciate. It's also simple to operate with clear images indicating where to place dishes for optimal warmth. While it might not be the flashiest kitchen gadget, it's definitely a helpful one. I'd give it 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of 5 stars—a solid investment for anyone who entertains or cooks multi-course meals regularly.

The rollup heating mat stood out from others I have checked into, on its size alone. I can imagine quite a variety of dishes arranged on this so nothing gets left out. The other immediate feature was the underside has a good density of standoff feet and they seem to be higher than average so avoiding heat affecting a table or table cloth should be better than average. The controls are simple enough to operate after a few seconds of tapping the icons. Only a very light and quick tap is enough to get a response. There is a built in safety time out that will shut down the heat after 3 hours on non-intervention. The electrical cord is a standard type for small appliances and electronics which I like to see.The packaging includes something simple to add in and very functional – a white band of synthetic strapping with hook and loop so when you roll up the tray it can be retained in a snug roll that won't creep open before you manage to get it back into the provided storage bag. There are several situations where I can picture this warming tray being useful, especially because of its size. I am involved in a community benevolent luncheon and this would be a great thing to have on the serving table (people line past the long series of servers dishing out the food). Or you get invited to bring some hot foods to a pot luck or a championship game house party - you bring your mat so as long as you can reach an outlet you're not adding a task for the hostess to keep your foods hot or warm.

Easy to use. Not worried about it getting too hot as it is safe to tough unlike the glass heating plates. Used it for a family gathering and it looked nice on the table.

I have used this food mat for the sole purpose of keeping my food warm for my wife as she works shifts with various different hours. After using this for one week, I can honestly say that this food warmer works quite well. But if you are looking for streaming "hot" food, this isnt going to work and it would be much more efficient to just use the microwave to reheat it.My wife being a nurse, usually don't get home from her work after ~1.5 hours from supper time. For the longest time we will just reheat her food in the microwave. She is quite conscience and critical about reheating food in microwave as she doesn't think it's healthy. Also, most of the time, certain type of food, such as porch eggs and beef rolls will come out overcook after being microwaved. With this mat, it definitely solved this issue. In order to utilize this food warmer mat to the full potential, I think there are some key points I should make. Firstly, the mat is fine for my purpose but I don't think it's suitable for reheating food for an entire family / guests. Even though it can place at least 4 plates onto the mat easily, for larger size gathering, this mat might not be enough to accommodate all the plates so make sure to be aware of the mat size. Also not all the plate will work as expected. Obviously the thickness of our plates make a lot if difference. I have some bowls with a elevated bottom and those bowls will not heat as well as the ones without. I transfer all the foods onto flat plates and use the highest heat setting. Also I place a round cover to cover my food to reduce the rate of heat dissipation and it works very well for over an hour. Also having a preheated plate would help with warming your food.Don't expect your food would be streaming hot like using the microwave. But its still good enough for my wife to enjoy without having to use the microwave again. It does not get warm up after 5s but more like a few minutes. Aftetward the mat itself do get quite hot to the touch on highest setting so make sure to keep away from children.Overall, the food warmer works very well for my purpose and I would recommend this for smaller size family. It has it niche market and for its purpose it works very well.

On the outside it may look just like a larger version of those coffee mug warming plates (that really don't do that great of a job imo), but this is so much more.First of all, I'm super glad that the feet on the bottom that raise the mat off of the surface are rubberized and not plastic. I was a bit concerned about that, since plastic isn't that great of an insulator and I didn't want anything damaging my tablecloths. Second, it's incredibly easy to use with basically just 3 warming levels. Would've been nice if the dotted lines around the outside were a darker colour, but the contrast actually makes it safer. Not to mention all the caution symbols on the bottom. Also would've been nice if the power cord were longer since I now have to leave a small extension cord in the dining room in case I want to use it in there. But honestly, what I mainly use it for is to keep dishes warm in the kitchen before they go out into the dining room during seasonal family dinners. Obviously need to crank the heat up to full most of the time for it to do a good job with multiple plates, but just be aware that it basically warms up everything on there, INCLUDING the serving trays. So you need to make sure your trays can withstand the higher temperatures. It's not like it magically heats up food without touching the plates. The heat is obviously transferred through the plate FIRST, so if it's a good insulator (to keep the heat IN for example), it won't do such a great job unless it's already hot. That's important to remember.Of course, it's not just for heating food. More than once I've actually used it to warm up and dry several pairs of socks after coming out of the wash. Despite the caution label saying "do not rinse", you can still get the top of the mat wet. The manual even says so. It's really just the bottom where the conductive elements are that you'll want to wipe carefully. But even then, they're well contained; and in my experience, it never gets dirty anyway, so cleaning is generally a piece of cake.As for the hotness, the first level is great for fabrics and soft items, but it's the upper levels you'll want to use for food. Obviously it's not a hot plate or cooking tray so you don't actually put food directly on it; but even then, the temperatures aren't really hot enough to cook anything. Maybe the highest setting....but although it's rated at 100°C, it's probably closer to 80 in the end because of the dissipation through the silicone and food trays. If I had a laser thermometer, I'd use it to check. But you DEFINITELY don't want to be touching it on the mid to highest settings. Injury is certainly a possibility if you're not careful so please be cautious allowing children anywhere near the thing.Haven't yet used it to defrost anything since I'm concerned about the extra water gathering around the mat, but it works for rising pizza dough that's for sure!! Another excellent application. The only thing is that the surface area is quite large, so it's not that efficient for smaller jobs. Otherwise, I'm a big fan of the plate. Kinda wish they included a black storage pouch and velcro strap because the white ones clash a bit with the colours, but at least it's easier to find that way. Big thumbs up.

This mat is great for the countertop or the table. The heating elements are well integrated into the silicon mat so the heat is even across the entire mat. It has three heat settings with plenthy of heat to keep plates, bowls etc. nice and warm. It is 250 watts which is enough for keeping everything warm. This will not by any means cook food or keep something at a boiling or very hot temperture but that's not what a warming mat is for. It did keep soup very hot in covered soup kettle with a lid! It's all about heat dynamics. We love this item much more than we though. it's great for keep bread warm, warming all the plates before serving up something. I even took a cold bowl of rice out of the refrig placed it on the mat and in about 10 minutes it was good to serve. It has endless uses. I may try using it to make yoghurt overnight, and as a warmer for my fermentation bucket.
