It works and works well. I am able to shift with ease as well as the mic-adjust is easy to accomplish even while riding.

The sram GX electric shifting system is great but sram really dropped the ball on this controller. There are many complaints and sram has actually redesigned this so it feels like a standard shifter with greater positioning. Sram doesn't offer a trade in so if you hate this like I do, you have to fork over more money to get something that works so much better.
