These are atrociously poorly assembled with the speaker drivers just floating loosely inside the body of the headset, there is no space allocated for the speakers or their rubber cover to hold them in place so they push out filling the space that your ear should be in resulting in absolutely tiny ear cups that squash your ears against your head.Even if you have the worlds smallest ears these are still terrible as the electronics in them are pathetic, there are a grand total of 6 levels of volume adjustment and none of them are usable, its essentially 3 levels of absolute nothing and then immediately 3 levels of maxed out volume with echo and reverb, whenever you turn them on or off there is the classic "brutooof" text to speech voice telling you they are turned on or off but the recording is so filled with static that its almost illegible.

You can hear each individual speaker. Meaning you know if something is comming from yoir left or right.

Bought 2 pairs for my son and I.Used for first time on Saturday at the range, certainly helped reduce the noise of 308's.Not an expert on how to rate the quality of them compared to others, as these are my first ear protector purchase ever. They do the job, am happy with them.

Exactly what I wanted.I have tried:-MSA Sordins (bad band adjustments, sound protection is low and worst of all the audio quality was tinny and poor no matter what volume)-3M Peltor Sporttac: My fav overall, by far the best sound quality and sounds exactly as if no headset is on. They just dont fold up easy and i get a bit of ear gap issues.-Howard Leight: Comfortable but lower sound protection and audio is not super great.-Walker Razor Slims, Perfect in every way except the sound is mono so its extremely weird to not be able to tell left and right which is a dealbreaker-Jack Pyke copy of the Razors, stereo sound but overall build quality was poorer than razors. Now for the M31's. These are great in almost every way. The sound is great, controls are great. The battery swapping is super easy and way easier than the MSA Sordins where you have to bash the things to get the batteries out which is unnacceptable. These are super easy and could even be done with the headset on which none of the others seem to be able to do as easy as these. The larger ear cups help well and are only 1 out of 3 headsets I have out of 8 that give a complete seal. The only negative is it appears the headband needs some bending, the very top digs into my head unlike other headsets which mostly touch the sides of the head instead of the very top. I did buy a strap cover and it has not helped that much. Though with a better one it could feel nicer, or some permanent bending or some modification. Other than that, perfect, and the price is amazing at £50.I would say to get these over the walkers or howard leight.

I act as an RSO at the local range so I wear earmuffs for hours. I have a set of m32s that I use with a radio so that I can stay in communication and react to the owners of the range. I've used them for about 2 years now, with no issues at all. Recently started getting lazy and didn't want to have to mess with plugging in to the radio. So I went ahead and bought these because I know they work. I have Walkers, and have had the Howard Leight, and in my opinion these are better. Paired with the ear gels, this is a great combination. If the battery life is anything like the m32s there'll be no issues. Like I said, good enough to buy a second pair!

The quality is good enough the battery last a pretty long time I’ve had them for about 6 months and are still working good! The only thing I recommend doing is upgrading to some gel muffs or whatever they are called before I upgraded I was only able to wear them for maybe 30 minutes before my ears were in pain.

Great product for cancelling out loud bangs and while it’s not muffling these types of sounds it also amplifies ambience.Battery life leaves something to be desired but I always carry spares anyway so no biggie.THIS DOES NOT COME WITH FACILITY FOR MICROPHONE however does come with a headphone Jack (cable supplied) to connect to ptt mic and radio

I bought these for their noise cancellation feature primarily, since my other pair fell apart (those didn't compare to this quality at a similar price point). Anyway, I tested these out on the 4th of July, they cut out the booms just like you would hope they would. The highest level of amplification is quite loud, and could very well help you hear game while hunting. (That won't be my primary use for these, but I'd like to try it out.) I deal with loud fans, gunshots and explosions at work, and being able to hear what is happening before and after pyro and gun play is very helpful for everyone to safe. If I stopped my review there, I would have given these a 5 star already, but WOW today I plugged them into my laptop to watch a movie in a semi noisy area... yes they kept unwanted sound out (the sound amplification was turned off) but the sound quality was very high quality, right up there with a quality pair of headphones that don't have noise cancellation (although they are a little tight to wear long term, but that's what keeps the loud noised out.)Bravo, Bravo... they feel sturdy too, not like my last lame pair that sounded horrible and fell apart. You can buy these with confidence.

For general range work (what I use them for) they work great, they've held up great and haven't had anything go wrong. So far they have been very comfortable and are plenty quiet enough. The battery life has been good too, although it takes about 15 seconds for the active sound circuits to warm up when you turn it on which could be abit annoying as I keep thinking the batteries are dead. Overall great value and great product, not because they're budget but because they're honestly just a good piece of equipment

The Gen 3 is an amazing improvement! They have vastly improved the build quality, audio clarity, and comfortability of the m31 headphones. The earcups are soft and seal very nicely even with glasses or eye protection. I recommend keeping the included ear cup protectors to maintain the shape while in storage! Also included is a very nice and simple carrying bag. Also a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to plug in your devices. The volume control is vastly more adjustable than the old version as well. I love that you have to hold the power button down for several seconds to turn on and off. The Gen 1 frequently shot off when I shouldered my rifle properly. Needs more testing, but I hope the battery life is improved as much as everything else!Excellent product! I will definitely be purchasing more from this seller! Shipping was fast and seller communicated very well.

My hearing aids started to die while I was hunting, and I decided to try these out. Well, they worked like a charm! Even an added bonus of keeping my ears warm. Easy 1 button use, with volume control on the same size. Some of these type of headphones have a buzz, and feel cheap, but these are pretty solid and heavy, with no buzz. I used them for 2 days, and had no problems. Ended up giving them to my dad for when he goes to the range, because I already had another pair back home in my range bag. Glad I got these, as they have very nice mics, and use just regular batteries and not the rechargeable funny kind.
