Really like the features listed on the advertisement. So far this thing has taken a beating; maintained its accuracy and performed exceptionally well. Very durable. The cost was well worth it.

My son loved this. He's an engineer and is always working on something and dealing with numbers. He said the accuracy was on point.

The belt loop holder came off and now it is a “carry around in my hand” item. I like the functions, once I got used to the features and their oerations.

Love that this item can do traditional tape measuring, laser measuring and laser leveling all in one tool. When using the laser measuring you can also calculate area and volume, but the best feature is the Pythagorean triangle measurement. I've tried this with just a tape measurer before to place framing that ended in the middle of the room properly and it took a ton of tries to get an accurate triangle as the slightest error in measuring throws the whole thing off. This would have saved me a ton of time on that project. I'm short and almost always work alone, so laser measuring in general is very helpful to me. This seems to be very accurate so far. The display is bright and easy to read. The double sided markings on the tape are a really nice feature and the markings in general are clear and easy to read. The self locking feature is useful as well. I also love that this tool is bright orange, as I am constantly setting things down, then hunting for them. This is easy to spot.My only con is that I find green laser lights easier to see, even though this red laser is fairly bright. However I do have a dedicated multi function laser level with green lights that I use when doing major leveling projects, so it's not really a big negative. I'd rather have an in hand red laser for quick use than just a regular measuring tape.

This isn't my first laser measure, but it is the first one that I actually carry around. I am always going to want a physical tape with me, since my other laser doesn't have one, I need to carry two tools which I'm not going to do, my belt is already heavy enough. Since this tool includes both a laser and a physical tape, it's much handier. The laser measure has proven accurate as far as I can tell. In addition to the expected single distance measurement, there are modes to calculate area and volume. Area is really handy for paint or carpet. I'm not sure when I would use volume, but it might be useful for some folks. There is a painter function which will keep adding up wall areas which I think painters would love.Of arguably lesser use are the Pythagoras functions which do some rudimentary geometry to calculate the missing side of a right triangle given the other two sides. I struggle to find a use for this, maybe running a stairway or doing rigging? Anyway, it's there if you need it.There is a continuous measurement mode that gives a constant reading as you move the tape. This is useful when say setting the distance between two objects, like cornhole boards. My beef with this mode is it beeps constantly while measuring which is kind of obnoxious. If there is a way to disable it, I haven't found it, and the instruction manual doesn't mention it.The reference point of the laser can be changed with the press of a button. This determines whether the width of the tape case should be included in the measurement or not. This is helpful when measuring the distance between two objects, e.g. walls in a room. The display is backlit which helps when trying to read it in direct sunlight. The tape is rechargeable via USB-C and seems to hold a charge very well. I am still at full charge after a couple weeks of moderate use.The laser button is located on the side of the tool along with two other buttons for changing settings. It works but I wish it was located separately from the other buttons, preferably on the top of the tape to make it easier to operate, especially with gloves on.The physical tape is really nice too. It's only 16 feet but that takes care of most of what I measure day-to-day. This is the only tape that I own that has metric as well as imperial measurements. I don't use metric very often (unfortunately), but it is handy when I need to. The tape is clear and easy to read. Individual feet and stud distances are clearly delineated. Both sides of the tape have the traditional markings down to 1/16" and the back has the actual fractions (to 1/8") spelled out. There is also separate text that shows the feet and inches, e.g. "1-3". The end of the tape has a rubber coating and two small magnets that can stick to metal surfaces when measuring or to fish up that screw that you just dropped from the top of the ladder. The tape stays out by default, a button is pressed to retract (I'm not sure why this isn't the standard to be honest). It comes out and retracts smoothly and is rigid enough to stay straight out to about 6 feet which is pretty respectable. There is a metal belt clip which seems strong and functional. The tool feels very solid and reliable but only time will tell how it stands up to use, I will update this review if I have any issues with it.
