I had high hopes from all high reviews but not what I received. Item appears to be made fairly well, the plastic feels thick and should handle some small bumps. I think if it was dropped from a normal height you would handle it, that it would crack fairly easily. The buttons felt reasonable, but were easy to accidently activate...which is fine but the reading light is under the solar panel and you don't see that it is on which will drain the battery. I was unable to tune any SW signals and the weather channel has a lot of static. However the speaker sounded pretty good on FM for such a small cheap device. Flashlight was acceptable but more of an emergency use item as it will not light up a large area or more than a few feet. The strap is basically useless, the clasp is very thin and just a cheap extremely thin strap. My unit arrived with a rattle inside it and occasionally stopped , I'm guessing a screw either fell out or an extra was dropped inside on assemble. However when I plugged it in to charge, I had a slight burning smell coming from the unit and thought it was just an initial first use smell but the battery charge didn't change in about 30 minutes so I stopped charging for safety reasons. I had high hopes as it would have worked for what I wanted but due to issues I had to return the unit.

Got this for bad weather and when power goes out. I of course has to try it when I received it. Flash light is bright, radio works as it should, and you can either charge it or use solar. Also has a wind up on the side. Great product for the power outages, or even camping

We received this yesterday evening, got it charged and figured out and had it on the nightstand ready to go for the big storms hitting in middle TN. At 0245 the alarm and strobe light went off and holy crap, my wife, Beagle and I shot straight out bed about 3’ high. Heed my warning about volume control, it was loud but did the job. I think that alarm took a few years off all our lives. I highly recommend this radio. The reception is nice and clear and it’s easy to use.

This weather radio is a great investment for anyone. Channels come in crystal clear. Bands AM/FM and NOAA which always repeats the weather over and over..so you'll always know if anything is coming. Device has a flashlight, SOS alarm, and a powerbank. It has an amazingly long lasting battery, but can be solar charged, USB charged or crank charged. Compact and durable. Great for camping or any outdoor activity.
