Came with a bad regulator. Someone without knowhow to replace would have been 100% out of luck. Cost us an extra 25 dollars and a whole day of wasted time!

Just replaced a 20 year old cooktop with this one and used it just for one day. It is a nice cooktop made with stainless steel. I would like to make some recommendations to Empava:1) Burner Grate is unnecessarily heavy, it's almost 7.5 lbs, ideally it should not be more than 3 lbs2) Burner grate is about 1.5 inches from the top of the burner cap, this is wasting the heat from the flame. Ideally it should be about 0.5 inchWill update after using it for couple of months .

Replaced an old Jenn air stovetop and was debating on spending $800-$1000 on a name brand but very happy with the quality of this unit. If you have any knowledge on home improvements or basic plumbing you can easily install it yourself. All you need is pipe thread tape for gas it’s yellow to seal the threads.
