We put these on our Countryman S ALL4 - seemed like they would work great, and they did - for 4 weeks. then the car got a rough idle, and wasn't drivable - thankfully it happened close to home and not when my daughter was at work.Ordered and put in the OEM Solenoids instead, and car runs perfectly. Would most certainly avoid and spend more to get the right parts.

I was getting the Vanta error (valve timing) on Mini R56. Ran rough and was getting worse. My mechanic did a scan of codes and the intake solenoid was the culprit. He suggested I replace both as they were not hard to do.Took my time, removed the air filter housing and 45 minutes later was done.All worked as expected. The take had a piece of smutz over one of the screens and although the solenoid was probably OK, it made sense to change.All good and fit was like original.

Needed this solenoid for my mini cooper after a check engine light indicated that the original part was malfunctioning. This part fit perfectly, and so far it is functioning as required. No more check engine light.

It works in a Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 (2012) - R60I just replaced with this because there was an alert with the Vanos and Engine Power reduced.With the scanner the issue code detected was (002D9D) VANOS ESCAPE.I replaced on 13/11/2022 with this, my MINI is working good, and i will continuing testing and providing updates about using this.Update: 28.Nov.2022: No issues, everything is fineUpdate: 06.Jan.2023: No issues, everything is fine. I completed 2 long trips (5 hrs each) with no issues

Was getting check engine light. Codes said timing was off. Good thing I did not replace the timing chain as I thought I should do. I pulled the Vanos solenoids That were in the head and the screens were mostly clogged. Put these new ones in. Now no check engine errors and car runs great. An easy job to do, one bolt holds these in.. Check yours if you get timing errors before you think about messing with the timing chain. Jim.. ( 2009 Mini Clubman at 145,000 miles.)
