While this looks like a really good weldless bulkhead it is not. The metal is soft which can lead to damaged threads. Twice I’ve had to cut one of these off. The jamb nut threads on smooth then right when it’s about to be snug it locks up. Presumably due to the threads gulling. Don’t waste your time on these overly expensive fittings. Brew hardware has some of the best, I’ve never had any issue whatsoever . I choose this as I like the O ring sealing vs a large silicon washer and the long male NPT end. Thought…maybe the threads are cut too deep? Whatever the issue is use these with caution.

All reviews are not created equal, particularly those from folks who get things free. Must be nice..... I bought this because the photos showed that it was machined from a solid piece of stainless and had a flange that should actually seal. Most of the competition calling themselves weldless require tons of teflon tape to seal under a nut that is supposed to seal on a threaded nipple. This one has a flange the o-ring seals against and then the nut has a recess to ensure the o-ring doesn't squeeze out. Definitely the best true weldless bulkhead I've found on Amazon. Another big advantage of this one is the long male threaded part; much longer than others. The only minor ding I'd give is that the o-ring is thinner than others that I consider more reliable. In the photo, I have the two of these that I bought plus a different silicone o-ring and flat washer that I plan to use. I plan to use this with the female part inside with the flat washer and the male threads on the outside for a ball valve.

Nice quality bulkhead and well machined. Appears to be the same quality of all the other stainless steel bulkheads that I own from other sources. Works as it should.

I originally got this to add a whirpool line to my boil kettle, and then found another, simpler, way to accomplish it. So I used this instead to run a hot water line through my barn wall to make an outdoor shower. It works perfectly! An MHT/MPT adapter on the female side, and an FPT elbow on the male side, and I easily rigged up a showerhead with no leaks! Use some teflon tape on the fittings, don't overtighten, and you'll be golden. This wasn't its intended purpose, but it sure does a good job!
