I have plans to put some of these on my work boots and sneakers. They work nice. Mine are a nice silver color and AR on the heavy side. I expect they should work great for what I need them for. I can also see them replacing some cheap plastic drawstring holders.Might be too heavy for sweatshirt, sweatpants and light weight clothes. Winter jackets should be just fine.

I ordered these cord locks to keep in our sewing notions box. These cord locks are very handy. My backpack has cords on it for keeping a sweater, bike, helmet or whatnot on it. I use these cord locks to keep the cords on my backpack in place. They are also handy for sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, shoes, and basically anything that uses cords. These cord locks work quite well. It's easy to thread the cords though and the cords don't slip once in and clipped. I like that this set has both black and silver cord locks so you can choose the color that is the best match for your project. Five stars.
