The overall shape of these drawstring locks is odd, especially with the "wings" on each side of the base. The spring is firm so there is very little risk of them coming loose through normal use. The do secure the drawstring very well. Just about the correct size for two strands of 650/750 paracord.

My teenager has autism and has a hard time tying his pants with drawstrings so I got these for him. The springs are a good quality and so it’s keeps his drawstring in place and he no longer has to constantly keep pulling up his pants. They work just as intended. Nice and heavy so I do believe they will last for a good while.Really good value.
