This is everything you need for a great campfire, even if you know nothing about building a fire! You don't even need to add any chemical firestarter or lighter fluid.A word of caution, though: don't cook food over the fire if you've used the color packets. Use them after smores or whatever are made!

The kit has everything I need for a campfire. The lighting cups worked great to start the fire. The color packets lasted about 20 minutes with pretty colors. The logs burned for a good long time.The price, however, is a bit steep.

Please read instruction and please add all the things that come. With it., specially the scented wax for increasing the maximum burn of these started logs. The wax adds an amazing scent in a home setting and in a camp setting, combined with some pine cones and we have a good fire to tell skin walker stories.For me this log was amazing! Easy to start up and keeps Bruning for quite a while, easily kept the fire going enough to light up all my strong wood logs. I added the log to the pit light my torch up and bamm fire started.Over all the fire log burned well and caught fire quickly, definelty please and happy with these logs.The extra green fire powder just gave it a cool effect loved it!

I recently tried out this 2-pack of natural fire logs, and they’re awesome. Each pack comes with fire starters and colored fire additives, which made setting up a cozy fire super easy and fun. The logs burn really well and produce a nice, consistent flame that lasts a good while.The fire starters included are super handy and get the fire going quickly without any hassle. Almost everything you need for a memory-making campfire with friends or family: two logs that last about 2.5 hours, two small round wax firestarters, and 2 color packs. All you need to do is light the ends and your all set!Keep in mind that the logs are a little shorter than your standard, but you can always add branches and pieces of hardwood to keep the fire burning all night long. The color packets don't last as long as stated but they make a nice "grand finale" to your campfire!To make the set last longer, I would either use the wax cups or the logs by themselves. When lit at both ends, the logs start fairly easily, so hold on to the wax cups for another fire.While you can easily take these camping, it's even better at home where you may not have firewood nearby. This works in a pinch really well for last-minute backyard fires.

I use Envirologs all of the time when I am camping just because I don't want to spend time hunting up kindling and building a fire the traditional way. I usually use one Envirolog a night with wood that I've brought from home or purchased, and this will keep my fire going for hours. This is a neat set for a short trip, as there are only two logs. I would note that these logs are a little smaller than those you will find in most of the big box stores and are intended to burn for 2.5 hours as opposed to the normal 3. This still should not be an issue as these will provide a good foundation for a wood fire. The best part is that they're safe to cook over.I admit that I'm bewildered by the review suggesting these are difficult to light - the recycled product is cardboard and candle wax, wrapped in paper packaging. Literally all you need to do is set the paper ends of the package on fire with a match. In nearly 20 years, I've never not had one catch.The Color Flame packets are fun and pretty (bear in mind it mostly adds blue and green flames to your fire, you're not going to get a rainbow), but while you can cook over an Envirolog, you can't cook over these, so make sure you're done with your dinner and smores before you throw the packet on the fire. This may seem like common sense, but a camp host recently told us about a family who ended up at the ER because their kids were eating blue marshmallows roasted over the color packets... In our experience, the color flames stuck around longer than the time indicated on the package, so I wouldn't plan to wait them out to cook dinner, either.I think the small round wax firestarters are a bit redundant as the logs are very easy to light and start a good campfire, but perhaps we'll use them if we want to get a fire going the old fashioned way.
