Bought this solar charge controller to replace an older PWM controller that was originally sold on ebay as a MPPT. Another case of lies in advertising on the old one..EPever has a very good name when it comes to solar charge controllers and this new one has more bells and whistles then I need but it is MPPT and works very well. I researched the crap out of charge controllers before I settled on this one. My system is not that big just 2 - 100watt panels on the roof of my van and 2 100AH sealed batteries. The reason I upgraded the charger is because my batteries are old and lack power so I will upgrade to a 100AH LifeP04 battery and I wanted a controller that would be best for that. It took a while to figure the functions of this charger but now that I have it for a while I am very happy with it and can recommend this charger.

Love this Controller. I Love that it reads the wattage you’re getting. Some don’t do that. Also it has 3 readings on the screen at once, you don’t have to scroll through each individually. It's easy at a glance. you don’t have to touch anything to know your panels are preforming. I also like the USB’s. I installed it on my boat, so having those extra USB’s without drilling holes and putting in cigarette lighters for more charging ports was a big bonus. Setup was easy. I went with a 30amp for my 200W panel as I want to add another 100 in the future. I ran it with a 40amp maxi fuse. It’s all working great.

8/20/34I should receive this on 8/21/24. My main complaint is o had to contact the manufacturer about the ebox wifi module. They say it's an old version that is not available anymore. The seller needs to update a picture then. It is very misleading and had me doing unneeded searching for something that no longer exists. Do better and fix this mess.11-2-24 I now have two of these solar charge controllers. I still have problems with the kWh history getting lost after a month or two. 50.82 kWh for October. Then today only 2.32 kWh showing for the newest one only. How do I add back lost kWh history? It has been deleted off the first one. Anyone else have this problem?

Best way to link to the controller. I could use my laptop, but it’s so much simpler to use the remote meter.Very much recommend.

The small 20 watt Epever controller that a previous RV owner installed had to have this matching panel added to the system to work with different battery types. It’s identical to a “MT50” unit marketed by Renogy and would be best if packaged with every controller sold under either Chinese brand name.

Working great, however, can not find a thermometer probe for it. Ordered the one it calls for, that company, not affiliated with this one, sent the wrong item. After many emails, finally got it resolved through PayPal. Got a refund, never got the probe. So, if you need the probe buy a controller that provides the probe with it. That's my only fault with this controller, should have had the probe with it.

I have installed EPEVER 20A MPPT Solar Charge Controller with 2 low priced panels connected in series. Works well in lower light and overcast making the best use of daylight hours. One oddity when light is low but very little charging taking place. Controller indicates that input is over voltage but this is defiantly not the case. I have been working with support but having difficulty in reproducing the condition. Support has been quite helpful.
