Didn't need this piece. Cut the wires and soldered it to "kill" (negative) side of ignition coil.

Perfect replacement part for our tach. Plug and play. No problems whatsoever.Just like the original...be careful with the little ears where it hinges open, they are easy to break off by accident.

Had to return both items due to incompatibility. There is NOT a plug receptacle for the inductive pickup on the tachometer!

When i recieved the product it was a day late, i opened it and the wire had been cut in half and retaped together with elcvtrical tape! it was far from new!
