Measured 0.008" TIR. Swapped to my old collet and measured 0.0012" and verified it was this new collet. Seller accepted the return which is great, just wish the collet was at least as precise as what I was trying to replace.

The edges protrude too much and are too sharp, this could not be the case with true .0002 or better. Techniks .0002 collets are as smooth as ice, no edges, perfect grind.

I use these collets with my CNC machine and also my lathe. I have found them to be almost perfect: showing unmeasurably low runout when carefully cleaned and installed. They are also easier than many others to install or remove from the collet nut. Definitely winners.
