We bought a pair of Ergodyne ProFlex 910 Half-Finger Impact Work Gloves for our son, a mechanic. He often experienced pain in hands by the end of a week that required more than a modicum of heavy hammering on rust-frozen parts. He reports that he does notice a difference when wearing the gloves, so that alone makes them a great product. And the open finger design enables him to switch from heavy duty to delicate mode, as in using his phone or computer to order parts etc.The gloves are difficult to remove, however. He wishes for some sort of strap sewn along the back of the fingers, something he could grasp to coax the gloves into releasing his hand. The gloves are tight, even though we got the extra-large size and our son is not what I'd call extra-large; under six feet. I'm not sure a truly EL hand would fit.

These are the best for me. I work with my hands and I have arthritis. I like that the wrist part is not a separate wrap-around strap. That style separates from the hand part. These wrist straps are all on the same panel, so it stays put. Fits great, sturdy. I wore out my old ones after a couple years, from constant use. The only improvement I would want is if they could add a gripper piece of fabric on the ends of the fingers, in order to pull them off easier. I wind up ripping up the ends when I take them off. I also feel these are pretty expensive for what they are. But they're also the best that I’ve found.

These are saving my wrists and hands! High-vibration power tools were wrecking my joints and leaving me unable to grip for days. Wearing these gloves while working with them significantly reduces the pain, stiffness and immobility I used to suffer. They're not perfect, but they're the best I've found!

These are pretty good quality gloves with good wrist support. And the support is where you need it-around the wrist not halfway up your arm. I only have two problems with these, and they're small issues-1) the reinforced wrist strap edge tends to stick out and catch on on things, pulling the strap off so you have to readjust it. 2) the fingerless ones are a little hard to get off because there's nothing to pull on. Not really a big deal but worth noting. I use these for weed eating, cutting with a chainsaw, and yard work and they work well.

These gloves provide good support and impact resistance but have weak points. I bought these about one year ago and have used them relatively few times working with tools and during outdoor activities. The palm padding is good as is the wrist support. Except for the pads, the stretchy material the glove is made of is thin including the space between thumb and index finger that is not padded. This is where the material split even though the rest of the glove appears perfect. I like the 3/4 finger coverage that allows you to do many things you couldn't do with full coverage. However, there is no extension of the material on top of the finger to help in removing these gloves.Overall, some good points, not as durable as I had hoped and some design flaws. I would not recommend especially for hard use.
