I own several Eufy cameras which are fantastic products in my opinion. However, this product is barely usable in my particular conditions. Let me explain: I bought this alarm to take advantage of the motion sensor , I wanted to use to secure different sections of my home at night, my intention was to buy several sensors and place them strategically around the house. I live in warm weather, with day temp aprox 30-32 degrees celcius (86F-90F) year round. As long as the temperature holds in that range, PIR motion sensor struggles to detect anyone at 3-4 feet. When weather cool downs at night then PIR sensor seems to works better, maybe at the range of 6-7 feet but not much more. Sensor setting is at max sensitivity. Eufy should warn owners not to buy if temperature is over a certain temp threshold, as this PIR motion sensor become unusable. Unless you want to use your AC around the clock. I hope Eufy can improve the tech behind the motion sensors so they can work in all weather conditions.

The system is very easy to set up. We did purchase the water, extra motion sensors along with 5 cameras. Seems to be very good quality.

This system is a great option for small apartments. The app interface is easy to navigate and has customizable security settings for all devices. The alarm is loud, especially in a small space. I’d imagine the complaints of inadequate volume apply more in a larger space. It is a self-monitoring system and does require WiFi, but it will still notify you when you’re away from home. All and all, it’s an easy and affordable way to have peace of mind.

Research many many alarm systems, watch many YouTube videos and settle on this system. Wasn’t disappointed one bit. We moved into a new house and wanted some home security with no added cost. This surly is the one for home owners. First off there’s no fees. Easy to hook up and monitor all from your phone and pretty much that’s all you need. The siren is pretty loud if triggered. The system comes with 2 door contacts but I got another one so for me it’s my front door, patio door and the man door in my garage. When armed if doors is opened the siren is on and your phone sends a notification. One tip for people is your doors doesn’t have to be flush with the crown moulding, the contacts will work. Many YouTube videos says otherwise. My new house, the door and the moulding is far from level and to my surprise it looks.

I am happy with the eufy system so far. It was very easy to set up and the app is user friendly. The security options are excellent, and additional devices (door sensor, motion sensor, camera) are easy to add and install. There are numerous videos and FAQ's to guide you if you need help. You can self-monitor or you buy a monthly subscription. I really like that you can arm/disarm the system on a keypad or from your smartphone. Almost very feature is customizable; for example when you want alerts sent from different devices. The eufy is an incredibly versatile system and very affordable.

I love this system! It was easy to install and I love that there’s no monthly subscription requirement, although it is an option. I love that you can fully customize it to your needs.Pros:Does not require monthly subscription. Although this is an option, a monthly subscription isn’t required which I love. All this system requires is a wifi connection and it will notify your phone anytime someone opens the door, turns on/off the system, etc. The subscription fees are also only $5-10 a month!Only took an hour to setup. This system is battery operated, but the batteries have lasted this far (I’m only about a half a month in but will come back and edit when they die). Everything is put into place with either glue strips (included) or screws (also included). The glue strips have also lasted this long and are a perfect option for renters. The different modes (away, home, custom, off). I love that there are different modes that are all customizable. I use the home mode for at night when I don’t want the motion detector to set off the alarm and I have the alarm go off immediately. I use the away mode for when I’m out and about and everything will set the alarm off after a specific amount of time if the code hasn’t been input. I haven’t used custom yet, as I haven’t had the need. Off is self explanatory and I use it for during the day when I’m home and am going inside/outside frequently.Cons:There is no remote for (de)activation. Other systems come with a keychain remote to easily turn off or turn on a system. Although this doesn’t necessarily make a difference, it would be nice. This is also solved by the fact that Eufy has an app that you can use to control the whole system. The alarm isn’t the loudest, but it is loud enough to be super annoying and alert someone that there is an alarm system in the house.

After almost a year of use of Eufy alarm system I would say its a great system for limited purpose. It will NOT replace an exterior alarm system. The sound of the alarm is low, which is great for apartments or if the use will be more for monitoring than deterrence. Here I share some pros and cons.Pros:• Door sensor can be used as door chime.• Easy and quick setup.• Small and lightweight.• Quickly notify any setup event to the phone. Even when the Homebase is not working properly (see cons). i.e. if a door is opened a notification is received within a second.• Schedule modes, setup multiple users/ passwords.Cons:• Homebase reliability: Once in a while I have had to restart the Homebase because the chimes are not working. I have been unable to restart the homebase thru the App even though it has an option.• Automation limitations: Some devices can be linked to the Homebase, others can not. Read carefully before purchasing. But it is easy to control each device within the App.

We really like it. We were mainly looking for a door chime when we found this. We feel better with small children knowing when the doors open. We get alerted always, when the system is alarmed or not. We find it plenty loud. The system and app itself works great, no complaints there. It installed very easily. We will upgrade and purchase the cameras eventually. The main console/key pad has a paint chip on the #5 button. We've owned this for only one month, so I'm not impressed with its durability so far. So we gave it 4 stars

Easy to set up and install. The quality of the individual components are good. For what you pay its a good value, not the best system or there however since there is no monitoring. The angle of motion detection is not as wide as I would like. The volume of the siren is low, should be louder to act as an effective deterrent. Would be nice to have an add on siren. The keypad is easy to use. The app is great. I like the Eufy products, I also have the cameras. Overall I am very happy with it. Looking forward for monitoring to become available in Canada.

This is an amazing system. It has seamless integration, is incredibly easy to use and has responsive tech support. No reservations in recommending this system. Anker quality is second to none.I added the wireless doorbell to this system and the floodlights. Everything fits together nicely from a single user interface. It’s great that there are no fees since it’s self monitoring you can add as many users to monitor this. You don’t need to depend on external storage or offsite data since everything is saved locally.Update: This is a fairly new system in competition with ring and nest. I found a couple of bugs in the firmware which I brought to the attention of Eufy / Anker. They were incredibly responsive and when dealing with tech support on many iterations until all the bugs were fixed. The great thing is they kept contacting me and would not stop :) until all my issues were resolved. So yeah, I’m really happy. I’d get the system again in a heartbeat.
