It was 7-11 dollars when I got one. It’s not worth that. The blade is just a flat purse of steel. It’s not shaped as a wedge and it’s made of some light wood that just sort of smushes under hammer blows. It’s not even something I would give my kids to play with.

Looks cool and worth a try. When you look at it on first inspection it looks like it was banged together by a five-year-old. It's just a low quality, poorly made, and a 'sucker' like me just lost his money on it. Buyer beware.

Don't waste your money. Bought one, sent it back for a replacement which was just as bad as the first one. I can't blame Amazon for the quality, but the company that sold it needs better quality control.

Planer works great and gives a really clean cut to the wood. Unlike other hand planer that I've used, You only need to strike the back of the blade once and you are all set to use the planer!
