The pistons seem to be fair in quality. At the price, I wasn't expecting forged pistons or anything. My one real issue is the oil scraper and expander rings. The design of it is funny and it's really difficult to get everything to line up and seat properly. I spent more time futzing around with that then I did filing the gap on the compression rings. Because of that, I probably won't ever buy these again - or if I do, I'll buy an OEM style ring set.
