Some of my cats like the carpet cover while others like the rope covering so this is a nice height for the two in one scratch post

Decent quality for a good price. My younger cat took to it right away & uses it all the time. My older cat has never shown interest in scratching posts, unfortunately. He'd rather tear up my couch instead. He's a stubborn old man. He used to be mostly an outdoor cat, so he'd use the trees for scratching. Since our last move, though, I've had to keep them both inside full-time. (We live too close to a busy street, I don't feel safe letting them outside.) I'll have to find another solution for my older guy, but at least kitten figured it out. That's a partial victory! When he finally tears this post to shreds, I'll be ordering another one.

The seller allowed to keep when a corner was damaged and honestly it doesn’t phase me anymore because it is sturdier than the rest I’ve gotten!

This is probably the 3rd one I have purchased and I gifted my last one to a work friend with 2 new kittens. She bought sisal rope here and Amazon and is recovering it. Also, just FYI-it shipped straight to me from Petco!
