Bought this for my 11 yr old travel kid. The quality is highly durable, not cheap at all, but fits him great. Kept looking and felt many of the youth items are cheap. This one protects his hand and has solid wrist protection for the slid coming down as well. Overall it’s functional and a solid product. I see the Velcro lasting a long time.

Sliding mits are in! My sons always has this in his pocket when he goes up to bat. The baseball season has ended and it’s still holding up well. He bats right and uses this on his left hand. Great value for this mit over the $100 ones!

Compact design, fits snugly in both a pants pocket and over the hand. Velcro wrap is an adequate length and has lasted through the season. My only complaint is a perimeter thread was not anchored; we almost trimmed it but upon closer inspection realized it was key to the integrity of the glove. I painstakingly (double) re-stitched the thread by hand. Had we trimmed it, the glove would have been compromised.
