What is exhaust gas recirculation valve?
The EGR Valve is an emission control device.
It modulates the flow of exhaust gas into the intake manifold to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
It's used to reduce fuel consumption,improve engine performance.
Note: Before installing this part, check the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve passage in the intake manifold and clear any carbon blockage.
Failure to do so will result in repeat malfunction of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve system.

the part was installed and seemed to be working fine for about 2 weeks then the same light code came back on

Part came promptly, but had no gaskets in the kit, as pictured. Had to go old school and fabricate one, reuse the metal one. Spend $5 more with a company that won't hold up your repair.

Replaced old EGR Valve for code P-0406 EGR Valve circuit high circuit and least than 400 miles of replacement I got another EGR Valve code P-0404 for EGR Valve range or performances. I don't recommend this product

I purchased this product back in February 2024. I finally had the chance to install product it's April 2024. It worked for about 1 week then I started getting a code P0404 which is the EGR. I'm figuring it had to be faulty. It does have a 1 year warranty. I reached out to the seller who in turn told me to reach out to Amazon. They gave me a full refund for me to be able to purchase another one.
