For just $10, this Exhaust Wrap is an absolute steal compared to the $28 DEI heat wrap at the local auto parts store. It goes on just as easily, and while only time will tell if it holds up as well, I’m optimistic. So far, I’m pleased with its performance. I used stainless steel clamps to secure the ends, which worked perfectly. Cutting it, however, is a bit of a hassle. Overall, it’s a solid product that offers great value for the price. If you’re looking for an affordable heat wrap that gets the job done, this one is worth considering.

If you are running a custom exhaust pipe you might not have any options for protection from the heat. This wrap will help keep you from burning your clothes and body parts. The steel cable ties work well and keep everything in place. This wrap is way cheaper than any fancy production guard as well.

I used this to wrap my drag pipes on my Harley and I am happy with it. Theres not enough material to cover much more than shorty pipes, but it comes with a few metal ties that hold it securely at the ends. It looks good too.

I used this on part of a dirt bike exhaust to keep my kids from burning the insides of their thigh. Follow the videos online about how to install this. Basically soak it in water, then start wrapping your pipe in a spiral, pulling it tight every time you go around. You can double or triple layer it as clearance allows. The first time you get the engine/exhaust hot it's going to smoke and smell a lot, this happens with all brands. This may happen several times until you get all the moisture out and the wrap takes it's "set". Also never put away your vehicle/project with this wrap wet, because it can cause rust underneath. Let it get warm enough to evaporate any water from rain/washing before letting it sit.I like this titanium colored wrap because it pretty much stays this color. Other stuff that is just fiberglass can discolor over time and look cheap. This keeps its golden brown/green color.
