I use it to grab parking garage tickets that I can't reach from the car. Probably good for hot dogs too!

Have bought several of these for elderly folks to use while in their wheelchairs. It allows them to reach items on the ground vs bending over and taking the risk of falling and being injured. The silicone tip easily picks up items from the floor

I bought these for a different purpose. I am a petite woman and I can't always reach the bottom of my top loading washing machine's tub. These tongs are smooth on every edge and surface. They are strong enough to manage the weight of the things I need to fish out of the tub and then toss into the dryer. The lock is easy to use.

These a replacing my old pair that broke. These are stronger and have a better grip. Lock closed for storing. Good size for grilling or frying. Toss in dishwasher make them easy to clean.

I use these tongs to help me pickup things that are hard to reach. They work good for in the kitchen cabinets, washing machine, dryer, low cabinets etc. The silicone really grabs well and they so far seem very sturdy. Gave my daughter these so she can reach items from her kitchen cabinets. She said that they work well for her as she is short. Recommend!!

These are the best for picking up small objects if bending or other movement is currently difficult. The silicone tips help me grab everything from dressmaker's straight pins, to single sheets of paper, to a dropped sweater, to a 2 lb box of pasta. The length extends my reach by about 15 inches, and gripping them with my whole fist lets me hold heavier items than any tool that requires a one-finger "trigger" grip. I don't cook things that require tongs, but with half a dozen sets of these around my home, I'm never far from a helping hand.

Having been in the food service industry for 30 years I’m versed in the tools of the trade. I love a great pair of tongs. I have big pair that are awesome thst I use at home and purchased them at a store that caters to kitchens. They’re tough, they hold well in the hand and have a great spring. They do t feel loose in your hand.Buts that’s those. I got this pair because I wanted something for nonstick pans when I go camping and have my little camp chef kit. They are certainly big enough for my hands to accommodate. Definitely comfortable with grip. However why I’m not giving them a five star is because of the spring. It gives a little too much and has a loose and spongy feel instead of a tight spring that really will hold its action.Great tong action for lite turns and simple things but don’t expect it to do strong tasks.
