Need to get everyday-use tongs that were not plastics or aluminum. Had bad experiences before with high heat scorching and then unable to properly clean afterwards. Instead, bought these stainless steel ones as a replacement and very happy. These seem to be far more durable and longer-lasting after every day use.

These tongs are great and after my old one’s started to fail I found these. The metal is significantly thicker and heavier than other name-brand tongs. This means they don’t have as much tendency to warp and distort at the hinge so that the jaws no longer line up. The locking mechanism is robust and the silicone grommet on the end piece is thick and good quality.I thought all stainless tongs were the same. But these are different and I like them much better. They are excellent quality and should last a long time. I would definitely buy again.

Not much to say, feel good and work well. The hinge isn’t too sloppy, lock works fine. Overall good purchase.
