Bought two 12lbs. They look ok. One of the rings on the top is bent. I’m going to see if I can adjust it. Rubber coating looks ok also, should do the job.I’ll hook these up to my weight scale and get an accurate measurement. Will update review then

Coating seems to be good, but didn't track straight when I put it in the water, tracked towards the boat so had to put it on opposite side

Awesome pancake downrigger cannon balls. I have been running two of these 12# for 4 years. Bought this one as a spare. Track true and are very durable.

I purchased 2 Down rigger weights and they work excellent and track straight on my canon unitroll downriggers. The pancake portion is not as flat and aerodynamic as desired but I was pleasantly surprised that weight stayed vertical with no noticeable blow back trolling 1 to 3 mph at 30-45 feet depth and was marked on depth finder the entire time. For less than $20 each i was able to buy two and still save $15 versus buying just one Cabelas 10 lb pancake weight at $55 each.
