The worst reader I've tried so far. Slow end inaccurate. Stores only 6 samples from finger. Often does not recognize fingerprint. Very sensitive to the position of the finger on the scanner. Octatco EzFinger FileLock 2.0 not recognize the fingerprint reader.(Software version: 1.3.0.0 on Win11)

Be sure to go into device manager, right click on the unit, and select "update driver", Search automatically for drivers", and finally, "search for updated drivers on Windows update."I have tested it successfully for Windows Hello on both Win 10 and 11.Biometric Webauthn seems to work, too.

This fingerprint reader was decent ... for a while. Not very accurate (it took 3-4 attempts to read my fingerprint and sometimes it would just fail completely), but as of today, March 28, 2022, after a Windows update (Windows 11), my device does not recognize my device anymore.Of course, I have reinstalled the driver, but unfortunately the company only offers a Windows 10 driver which seems to not be working anymore.

After Windows 11 fresh install, driver no longer works, now the fingerprint scanner is completely useless.

Challenges: currently need a driver download: At first i couldn't' see the driver. I was using some ad blocking tooling which likely impacted it this chevron drop down" where you download a zip file. In private mode worked. the web site is confusing but the directions are correct. I'd much prefer installing software built into windows/evaluated.DO READ THE amazon instructions to download the driver try private mode if it doesn't work.So, i went back today (9-4) no driver it's gone. Too much trouble i've seen the driver.The scanner is also not that great. i've seen better. Even accounting for the driver download problems it has issues with scan accuracy. I 've found kenmark and pqi better and faster. They just don't directly support fido2, but if your using windows hello ora yubikey with it your good. I 'll carry on with that.

With support for FIDO2 and FIDO U2F in a single key I can use one key for securing windows, google, and ms accounts. So far reader is fast and accurate. Quality feels slightly worse than the EzFinger2, but still decent.
