What can I say, it's a shoe horn. It's pretty hard to mess up. We do like this product because it comes in a pair, so we keep one in our garage and one at our front door. They're metal and long so they're very sturdy and can be used without sitting down.

These were waaaay better made and easier to use than I expected at this price. If you've used a long shoe horn like this, there's nothing really to add. It works great, is very sturdy, and you get two for $6 (at least that was the pricing at the time of my review).

This set of 2 long shoe horns is a great deal! They work as advertised, although I found it interesting that the plastic covering the handle has an indentation for a circular hole (I assume to hang it) but the plastic doesn’t have a complete hole (see photo). When I used scissors to break a hole through the plastic, I discovered that the hole is so tiny that it won’t even fit over a very small nail head.Shoe horns like this are really good for older people to get on shoes and even for younger people trying to get on some types of shoes, such as hiking boots. They would make an excellent gift for older people.I noticed a few reviews complaining about the edges being sharp. One of my shoe horns had a slightly rough edge on the bottom, but I would have never noticed it if I hadn’t thought to critically check after reading other reviews. For the price ($6 or $7 for two), this is a great deal. If it weren't for the good price and the fact that this shoe horn works fine, I probably wouldn't give it 5 stars, since others are a little higher quality.

I was one of those guys who pound their feet on the ground to put shoes on. Some shoes can handle that but in the past I had a pair of shoes that had some sort of plastic heel wrap that was supposed provide stability cracked. So, at times you can feel the broken edge poking into my foot. Since that I bent down, held the little loop at the top of the back of the shoes and put my shoes on. Normally that's not a problem but then I had a back issue that prevented me from bending down. So I had to do the foot pounding maneuver in order to put on my shoes. So at that time I thought of my parent's shoe horn. Long story short, (I think it's plenty long already) these help me put on my shoes without bending down without breaking the heel portion of the shoes. I tried them this morning for the first time and it was so easy putting my shoes on. My parents had wood ones and I remember they breaking at some point. Not these. Sturdy metal that will help me for years to come.

Works as a shoe horn should, although I wish it was just alittle bit longer. It works well for someone who is able bodied but just needs some help with the pesky shoes you don't want to untie to get them on. If not able to bend down, or have other molity issues I'd suggest a longer one.

The Falkon 16-inch metal shoe horn is a decent product, but it falls a bit short of my expectations. The build quality is impressive—made of sturdy metal with smooth edges that won’t snag shoes, socks, or clothing. The finish feels premium, and the curved, rubber-coated handle is comfortable to hold and makes it easy to hang up when not in use.However, I personally found the length to be a drawback. While the 16-inch size works fine when sitting, it’s not long enough for me to comfortably use while standing. My previous shoe horn was longer and allowed me to put on my shoes without bending down as much, which I miss with this one. If you’re looking for a shoe horn specifically for standing use, this might not be the best option.Another issue I noticed is that some edges along the body of the shoe horn are slightly rough. While they don’t cut skin, they could potentially damage delicate socks, especially nylon ones. I had to sand down the edges with fine-grit sandpaper to make it safer and smoother. This isn’t something I’d expect to do with a new product.On the positive side, the metal construction ensures it’s far more durable than plastic alternatives that often snap under pressure. For the price, it’s a reasonable solution if you don’t mind using it in a sitting position.Overall, it’s a solid shoe horn but not perfect. The length and rough edges are notable drawbacks for me, so I’d rate it 3.5 stars. It gets the job done but could be improved for better usability and convenience.
