It is MUCH bigger than I had thought. 10 1/2" from end of handle to top of the blade. The blade is 6" long and 1 1/2" wide. Maybe I didn't read the dimensions correctly as wanted a butter, jam spreader but it's come in useful for spreading cream on Victoria Sandwich and mashed potatoes over Shepherd Pies. It's a Keeper.

I bought this knife because it has a serrated edge to cut bread and sandwiches. The knife is big and very sharp. I like the knife but the first time I used it, it slipped and cut two of my fingers. Be careful with this knife so you don't have any accidents. Protect your fingers. It's a great knife.

Excellent cutting ability, great for spreading butter, cream cheese on a bagel. My go-to tool for cutting my bagels or sub breads.
