The tool is compact and combines several simple maintenance operations. A few strokes with the standard 90° tungsten carbide sharpener helps maintain the cutting edge of the blades. For finer sharpening, a second carbide stone ensures a perfectly sharp cutting edge. Finally, two 7 mm and 8 mm hexagon sockets allow for easy adjustment and tightening of the various moving elements of the pruning shears. These new products are available from authorized FELCO dealers shops or the FELCO e-shop, and are ideal complements for FELCO users who want to regularly maintain their tools on their own.

Works pretty well for a quick edge maintenance. The 7mm "wrench" is a little hard to use. It is recessed (setback) in the tool so that it barely engages the 7mm bolt on the "latch nut". For the price, a storage tube would have been nice to protect the tool and cutting edges.

Der Schleifwinkel ist durch dieses Schleifwerkzeug vorgegeben und immer optimal. Das Schleifwerkzeug ist super handlich und benötigt nur minimalen Kraftaufwand.Passt sehr gut in die Gürteltasche von Felco mit der kleinen Zusatzkammer.

It was time to put the edge on my Felco pruner and this tool is designed for the user to accomplish the goal. Within 5 minutes I had restored a dull blade to like new status. I immediately put the restored blade to the test which resulted in clean cuts, no bark tears or stem crushing. I have assigned this Felco sharpener as an Indispensable field tool.

At first when I ordered this product I received the Grey variant but I contacted Amazon and I was sent the correct Red Felco 905 tool which is the reason I bought it in the first place thank you Amazon for solving my issue I would definitely recommend this tool to Felco Users

This little tool though over priced I feel but well worth it because how many people instead of sharpening their hand pruners would just throw them away so you trained yourself to buy the more expensive either hand or larger for cutting thicker branches

Great addition and really nice quality.It did say on the packaging ‘For use with Right handed secateurs only’ which as I’d also got a left handed set was initially concerning however all you need to do is adjust the way you hold the left handed secateurs and I found no issue in sharpening them.Simple to use and produces a really good sharp edge.I’ve also got the diamond sharpener and whilst great for knives the Felco 905 is much easier to use on secateurs and keeps the cutting angel really well.

It is hard to keep the sharpener straight and it takes a lot of time to sharpen there loopers so not good to use at work were you want to make the blade sharp fast so for me this sharpener is ok to sharpen blade every week and at work use like the Corona AC 8300($10) sharpener to get a fast sharp blade and easy to use
