These are very nice quality and comes with tone cap. However, the threads are pretty short meaning these don't work if you have a thicker 4-ply pickguard, there's not enough thread .

It's a revelation. Now that I have installed and used on 3 gigs and many practice sessions, I have to wonder why I ever had a tone pot at all? I run it wide open 99% of the time and it sounds great. I'm thinking of just removing the tone and volume pots entirely.

Fender quality pot! Great for doing mods to cheaper guitars to make them sound better! Highly recommended!

I use these on my bass builds to have a tone knob when needed, but bypass the tone circuit 99.995% of the time. With mod projects it's a great alternative to an empty whole or non-functioning pot.

Monté sur une Strat Squier, ce potentiomètre No Load fait ce qu'on attend de lui. Attention néanmoins car la tige est non crantée, j'ai du remplacer le bouton.

Great unit. Genuine Fender part. Means you can have tone or straight through from the pickup. Note that the design of the pot means that only the central tab and one outer tab are used. The other outer tab is NOT connected inside the pot. You have to get a circuit tester out to see which outer tab you have to use. The switch is smooth, which you can assist by pulling on the knob (not pressing) as you turn it. No loss of signal between track and switch, and no "blip" of interference either. The supplied capacitor is 0.022 uF as per Fender standard, but IMO you need much lower (e.g. 0.002 uF) to make best use of the tone control. Fits my Telecaster with no mods.

The "No Load" tone pot is, IMHO, the best choice for a Stratocaster. Mine spends much of its time in the no load position giving the brighter, clearer tone with no high frequencies bled off with the tone cap out of the circuit. I wire my SSS Strat with a master tone pot and a volume tone bleed circuit across the volume pot. I currently have a Chromocaster switch (from "Deaf Eddie") in the middle tone pot location that permits a variety of pickup wiring configurations at the turn of the switch; it includes, among others, the Tele-like Bridge + Neck combination and a position with all three pickups in parallel.

I chose this rating because the potentiometer did what it was supposed to do. It drops all load from the tone circuit (except for the volume load) to give the cleanest tone possible with just changing the pot. I got a solid shaft for my Stratocaster because I use Telecaster Dome knobs on it and they work great on this pot.
