About this item

  • All-basswood construction
  • No-tie bridge for quick, easy string changes
  • Painted 4-in-line Strat headstock
  • Slim "C"-shaped neck profile

Inspired by the beach community on Catalina Island in Southern California, the Avalon tenor ukulele is the larger sibling to our incredibly popular Venice soprano model. A tenor ukulele gives the player a deeper tonal register than a concert or soprano body size, while still maintaining the portability to travel easily from the beach to the studio or jam room. The Avalon’s all-basswood construction and slim "C"-shaped neck profile, provide the superior tone and playability that is a hallmark of Fender ukuleles. Other features include a no-tie bridge for quick, easy string changes, classic Fender color options and painted 4-in-line Strat® headstock. With the Avalon ukulele, you can be transported to your own island no matter where you are.

I play guitar and my younger sister who has dwarfism really wanted to learn to play guitar like her older brother. However, there was no chance her hands would fit so I bought this for me and a smaller ukulele for her so I could use this one to teach her I Used to play ukulele so it wasn’t that hard to pick back up this thing very good and is definitely good quality I love the fender styling, and the Stratocaster style headstock the tuners Work as well as the tuners on my actual Stratocaster I think it’s a very well worth of money and sounds really nice for a ukulele. I find myself picking it up just playing Even when I’m not trying to teach, it’s definitely worth it

Fairly good Ukulele with pretty good quality, but sadly the higher notes on the fret board start to become out of tune. Also after about 6 months the bridge flew off and ended up hanging from the ceiling. It could've been from tempeture change or just a singled out fault, but thankfully I wasn't holding the thing when it proceeded to explode. Overall the quality still isn't bad, but might not be what you're looking for unless you want to run it by a guitar center sooner or later.

Molto bello, suono perfetto dopo accurata accordatura. Materiale robusto , colore accattivante. Lo consiglio come regalo per se stessi o per gli altri.

Super disappointed. Won’t keep a tune for even two strums & it overall feels cheap and looks like it was rushed to be assembled. Returning immediately

it's really disappointing to open up an item thinking it's going to be brand new and it's got all these marks and dings all over it. it looks like someone played this, damaged it and then returned it and that's what got sent to me passed off as "new" which is really frustrating! i am returning this one and reordering another - please let the new one actually be new!

I got this to fill in for my fiancé’s $80 dollar 10-year -old standard uke. Much larger sound, and easier to play on the higher frets.
