Works well, decent alternative to the expensive name brand mini regs. Just make sure to order the correct thread sizing on your C02 cartridges

There’s no way to tell if the valve is open or closed. There are no “clicks” to tell you how far the valve is opened., and no indexing marks to tell you this eitherBut that is minor, the thing leaks CO2 like a sieve. You’ll have an empty CO2 cylinder even if you shut he valve tight.

The quality looks good but the set pressure does not hold. When I set the serving pressure to 10psi it drifts up to 60 (max) within an hour. Constantly having to burp the pressure back down to 10psi. This is causing over carbonation of my beer. I would not recommend.

This is the perfect addition to keep my keg carbonated on the road. I do not use it to carbonate my beverages. I only use it to keep the carbonation while traveling.

Best threaded regulator I have used. I have been through a few other brands and those have been nothing but a waste of time and money. They either only work for a short bit, need modifications, or just do not work at all. This one does not leak, it's easy to operate (no forcing carts to fit, fiddling w/ Teflon, or fighting the control valve), and has been several dozen carts. Excellent quality for the price.

Each CO2 cartridge seems to be enough to serve about 2.5 gallons of an already carbonated beer. I made sure the keg already had about 12psi of head pressure on top of the pre-carbed beer. I then followed the instructions by decreasing the flow on this CO2 unit all the way to the minimum, attaching a food grade CO2 cartridge and then slowly opening the flow to the point it would maintain 10-12 PSI.

Wanted to play with carbonation of some assorted drinks...this seemed the lowest cost way to get into it enough and see if I like it before investing heavily in a tank and fancy regulator. While it says 60PSI the gauge maxes out at 60 and pressure never seems to go above about 50PSI, so be aware if you care about that. I thought it would output 60PSI. But I'm new at this so I don't know if that matters much.I was happy to see it seems like it doesn't just vent uncontrolled when the quick-release is not connected to anything. I did initially overlook the wrench to tighten the adapter fitting into the regulator and had difficulty assembling it until I realized I needed that to get the fitting properly tightened down to be leak-free on the output. We shall see how long these little cartridges last. I don't expect they will last long but it sure is the most portable design I've seen and quite cost-effective for just a quick tinkering or rare/travel use, but if you use it regularly would be expensive buying the little cartridges.
