I replaced a mechanical governor on a gas powered genset with one of these. Took a bit of patience to set it up but once done it works great. This is my second control. I originally mounted it on the outside or the electrical panel. Even though it says it’s resistant to water it isn’t. Last storm we had horribly bad blowing snow and it got into it and shorted it. In spite of drying it out it would not work. Now it’s mounted inside the control cabinet. A little harder to adjust but once it’s set up it doesn’t need to be touched.
