This counter is easy to use, but a bit difficult for me to read because it is so small. It resets easily and the counter is accurate. But, the screen dims after a certain amount of time, and you need to push twice - once to wake it up, and once to add to the count. This is a little tricky since sometimes I'm not certain if I then double counted. Also, I need to wear my glasses to be able to read the counter, and I don't always wear them when I'm exercising. It's probably fine for people that are near-sighted, but that's not me. Also, it probably works fine for keeping count of things that happen more rapidly.

I got this to help count how many times I do a specific task for my work. Each one takes 1-5 minutes but I can do 20-25 per sitting, so I have just been noting the time and making tally marks. I thought this might be more efficient. In general it is. I'm not sure what happened, but on my first series, I counted 2 items and the 3rd took a little longer so the screen shut off, then when i went to track the item it had reset and i was now tracking #1 again. Luckily it was a low number so I remembered that I had previously tracked 2 so I added them and carried on. After that incident, it continued to track correctly even if the screen shut off for a moment. There was no instruction manual or any wording on the packaging to confirm if this timeout and reset was expected or a flaw.Use of the product is otherwise self-explanatory. Count adds a tally (if you lightly touch the button it seems to keep the screen on or wake it back up. A firm press makes a tally) and the Reset button clears down to 0.If you have really skinny fingers then it may not be a comfortable since you will need to tuck part of the strap under the device. The screen is also quite small at about 1/4" or 7mm and the numbers are slightly smaller than that.I did not notice any backlight so you will need to be in a little area or use a flashlight to see your tally.
