This is a nice thick material that has an attractive gray. It covers the fire pit well to protect it over the winter and rainy season. The thick material would hold up well to the weather each year. So far it seems to be waterproof and is keeping the firepit dry. Time will tell how long it holds up to the harsh winters.

I am beyond satisfied with this Garden Balsam Fire Pit Cover! We keep our fire table outside all year round, and keep it covered whenever it is not in use. Because of this, we go through a new one every other year due to the exposure of 10-12 hours of sun during the summer months, covered in snow in winter, and subjected to high winds throughout the year.I like that this has buckles that can be strapped to the legs so even if the wind gets under it, it does not come off.It is made of good quality material, and seems durable. Hopefully it will last a little longer than the others, but only time will tell!

I do not want to take away from the craftmanship of this item. I will tell you that this is a high quality cover and very thick. It is well packed in a zippered bag for storage. I very much so recommend this fire pit cover and wish I had found one like it sooner. Unfortunately, it is too small for my fire pit. I will however be on the lookout for a smaller pit for it, as I really would like to use it.

Usually when I unpack any sort of cover like this, I'm initially kind of disappointed with how flimsy they are. Not so with this one. I was impressed just pulling it out of the bag. This feels like a good heavy cover, the kind that big name companies include with their fire pit/grill products and/or want $40+ for if bought separately. This is a nicely made cover.I kind of like the idea of the dark grey color. If black-colored covers fade, it's never uniform. They typically fade where they get the most sun (on the top or primarily on one side). Even if they are in good shape otherwise, you can just look at them and KNOW they are faded. If this cover does fade in time, and even the nicest and most expensive ones do eventually, it will be much less noticeable. I actually got this to replace a light beige cover that has held up well, but looks all stained up and dirty from various things. This cover shouldn't show things like that so badly.

I have a square firepit that lives outside all year. I keep it covered when not in use. The cover it came with is useless (it's not even waterproof), so I bought another cover. That cover was ripped earlier in the winter, so I got this as a replacement. This cover is pretty thick and well-made all round. The stitching is good quality and the material is pretty thick and nicely coated. It covers my firepit nicely and is an exact size replacement for the torn cover.Oddly, it comes with a little bag, which is also well-made. If you only put the cover on your firepit for some part of the year, I guess that bag is a good storage thing, but for me, it's a bit useless. I guess I'll find something else to put in the bag.All around, I'm happy with cover and I would get it again.

I have owned a few different covers for my outdoor firepit. The first one that came with my firepit got sun bleached and eventually the fabric wore through after sitting outside for a few seasons and became brittle and ripped. This Garden Balsam fire pit cover seems to be really high quality and is designed not to fade. It is designed really well in a few ways that stand out from other covers I have tried. Instead of just having a cinch cord like some of the other cheaper brands, this one also has two other straps on each side so that you can use a little belt around two of the legs and then snap it closed and cinch it around two of the legs to really secure it in multiple places. It also has vents on each side which is nice so that the wind can blow through it and vent the entire thing so it doesn;t get stale or waterlogged or anything. The whole things comes in a nice zippered pouch which you can store it in when it;s during the warm season and not in use on the fire pit. While the cover is on your firepit, the little pouch on its own is a handy little size for storing things like your tablet or other devices. I usually throw these things away, but the storage pouch seemed too nice to do that! I would receommend measuring well as it seems a bit roomy on my firepit, but probably better than to be too tight.
