This winter is my first using the fireplace in my new house.Like every other regular fireplace grate I’ve seen, one that came with the house had bars that were too far apart to keep the wood in place as it burns down. So I really wanted this grate to keep my fire viable for longer. (And to keep the log embers in place as I cooked marshmallows).It works just the way it should. It feels very sturdy, so I hope it lasts for years.

We had a different use for this than a fireplace grate but it is VERY durable quality and I was impressed with the strength of the grate. Not made from wimpy metal. I'm super pleased with it and glad it solved the issue we needed it for!

I needed a grate for a firepit to hold the logs off the ground and this is just right. I put 2 blocks on each end and the logs light easily; the grate allows for easy air flow and great times around the pit.

Our fireplace grate screen broke from use. The grate was still in good shape just needed a replacement. Searched Amazon found this grate. The was double the width, so I used a angle grinder to cut the screen to size, now I have a spare. We have been using the fireplace for about two months great shape last for awhile.
