I purchased the extension cord to power my CPAP device while traveling on cruise ships.The 10-ft length and 16-gauge wire were perfect for ensuring a power cord with a higher safety rating and one less likely to violate the stringent electrical specifications found on cruise ships. As most cruisers know, cruise cabins are usually equipped with one Type-1 or Type-2 230V power outlet, which are not compatible with the typical 2- or 3-prong cords found in the US. Many people use a power adapter, but these adapters do not convert the 230V power source to 110V. Therefore, it is important to have an extension cord rated for 230V service.The 10-ft length was ideal for reaching the power outlet situated on the cabin desk and extending to the bedside, where the power cord of my CPAP device is located.

We got a new microwave, and I get but don't like, that has a short power cord. Our microwave nests inside our cabinet and has to reach the outlet to the area below and was just too short. This 14ga thick wire extension cord in 1ft length was perfect for our needs I didn't want something too long that would bunch up in excess length and needed it to be rated strong enough. This worked great and feels quality and durable!

The Walking Pad I recently bought has a short power cord that didn't reach my wall outlet. After reading several reviews, I ordered this extension cord. It was just delivered. Three feet is the perfect length, and the receptacle fits the walking pad power cord perfectly. Now I'm all set to start walking.
