I am mostly happy with this item. It was easy to install and does help in carrying the fishing poles. It is compact and doesn't take up too much room in the garage. However, the build is still very nice and works as I need. This is well worth the money for us as it helps organize the many fishing poles we have without having to give up floor room.The one ehh is with the installation. It is overly complicated and cumbersome to add the lining. You might need to spend a longer time than you might expect so I suggest reserving a little extra time for this one. It ate quite a bit into my free time.

I installed these on my garage ceiling, for storing my saltwater rods. I'm in Central Texas, so these rods are stored more than they are fished. I've no concerns that my rods are going to fall out, or the holders fall down.These holders are sturdy, well made, and functional. I do agree with other reviews that assembling the protective rubber pads is a pain. Still, @ $13 these are a great buy.

Heavy duty. The openings are perfect. I use mine as a ceiling mount and it works great. I wish they would have put the rubber on instead of having me do it. Its a little tedious and annoying. Thats the only reason it got 4 stars.

This is a solid and sturdy rod holder. We have not installed it yet due to the weather, but we tested it out with our rods and they slide in and out of the holder with ease. We will echo other comments that installing the orange liner for the brackets is a bit inconvenient, but hope that once they are cut and installed, they will stay put and work effectively. Otherwise, it's a nice piece of equipment and we plan to order two more.

Solid metal construction that will last forever. Nice finish and rubber molding to protect rods. Large holes make it easy to put rods in the holder. I ceiling mounted this rod holder and it works great. Simple, effective design.

Simple and sturdy design. Hooks are solid metal and install with three screws per side, anchors are included. Only drawback is that you have to cut the orange rubber arm liners to size and install them yourself which is a bit annoying. Otherwise it's pretty great especially for the price.
