This net holder slides on to my wader belt if I’m not using my sling pack (has a net holder included).

Well built compact fishing net holder. The belt loops are just the correct size, very durable.

But I gave it the garage test. The ONROCL Fishing Net fits perfectly in the holster - that's a good thing. What's bad are the belt loops. There are two types as shown in the pictures. One large with an opening of about 4 1/2". That's a WIDE belt. The other loops are about 1 3/8" wide. Just enough for a regular belt to fit through. The reason I'm talking about loop sizes is if the belt doesn't fit VERY tightly in the loops, the net will swing side to side. You really want the net with the handle parallel with your spine. Otherwise, the net may dislodge from the holster, fall in the water and float away downstream.Fortunately, my trouser belt fits perfectly in the smaller loops. Unfortunately, the loops are too small or too large to fit snugly on my 2" wader belt. I might rig this to the wader belt with a needle and thread to keep it firmly at a 90-degree angle.I'm still experimenting with a net bungee/lanyard so if I do drop the net while landing a fish it'll stay hitched to the rig. It'll have to feed through the holster smoothly and quickly for both replacing the net into the holster and pulling it out.The holster has a well-thought-out retention bump to help secure the net. This unit is well made and should last several years.

Purchased a boat net, little longer than a normal net to used as walking stick while flyfishing. Used it when in water and along bank. This allowed me to easily put net out of the way and grab when needed. Was better than I expected.

This is a great net holster, don't get me wrong, but you will need to figure out if it can be attached to your gear. If you use a belt or have a fishing backpack, you will have no issues.Fishpond quality is 10/10, so you know your getting great gear.

I am really surprised this net holder wasn’t as good as I anticipated. I own a few Fishpond products and I am usually very satisfied with their product but not this time. I bought this net holder to use when I don’t have my chest pack (also a Fishpond product). I figured I would attach it to my belt and my net would be secure. That wasn’t the case. It fits loosely to your belt and there is no way to adjust it. My net kept tipping on side to other eventually I lost my net. Again, I own three of their bags and I am usually happy with their product. I hate to say this but I wouldn’t suggest this product for anyone to buy.

I was looking for another way to carry my net.The idea is good , but may be for small nets?My net kept flopping out. It is better with a thin belt to fit the two small loops to keep it from twisting.
