Smh I should have read the return policy. Only some sellers have a free return. I used Torx 5 (T5) tool to screw the Garmin 2555 LMT. Replacing the battery is easy. Make sure not to open it all the way. I kept a cord connection between the LCD screen and the battery pad while I was replacing the battery. I noticed the red battery icon with a question mark rather than the green battery as usual. I pressed the battery icon for like 20 sec, and it led to the next page stating, "missing battery," and I tried to flip the battery cord. Nope, it is not working. Still "missing battery". It is obvious that the battery is not compatible with Garmin 2555 LMT. Now, I have to pay return shipping for this battery. I don't know if this seller will give me a refund. Use this money to buy a new GPS instead. The title is misleading. I read other reviews who own Nuvi 2597, and it works well for them. Not Nuvi 2555 LMT.

Wires came off the hub just before trying to connect. The wires are attached to the far end of the battery unlike my original battery so that only way to connect is to flip it upside-down which makes putting glue a harder option.In any case, once the wires came off/broke that was a quick end to the process that I thought was very easy to do by myself.Very disappointed by the manufacturing quality or perhaps received a defective item. to begin with.

Recieved to battery on the last day of the "delivery window" so not technically late. The battery was taped in the packaging so that when I removed it the information sticker attached to the battery was peeled off and no longer readable. The battery plug did not fit my Garmin and not wanting to wait any longer I spliced wires and plug from the old battery. Tracking the package did not function at all. The only data or update that was ever available was when the product left the shipper. I had no idea when or if it would arrive until it did.

Instructions and YouTube video made it easy. You'll need a T5 Torx driver. Can't speak to battery life yet so also can't speak to value for the money but have no reason to expect a problem.
