The springs on the latch are very weak, and so my 25lb dog got loose a few times in one day. Returned them and looking for better ones.

These are holding up very well to saltwater. The only point of minimal oxidation I see is the little spring. Otherwise they are as shiny as the day I received them. I’m using these on a steering arm for my kayak motor so they see plenty of saltwater abuse.
