This works perfectly for my Alto Sax, but it would be too large for a soprano. Other than being misleading, it's a great stand - sturdy and steady!

Such a great stand for the price... I see the images don't show how to place it in the stand but it is just like all other stands. When placed properly it works great and protects it from the floor!

While advertised as a stand for a curved soprano sax, the bottom pad is too far down the stand to support a soprano. While it holds the bell of the horn, the bottom of the horn rests on the metal of the stand. Retuned this item.

I read the reviews and saw that it was really a stand for an Alto sax. I took a chance and bought one. It works great and is inexpensive. I recommend it

Just a warning for those looking for a curved soprano sax stand....THIS IS AN ALTO SAX STAND... it does not fit a soprano. The bottom rail can not be adjusted to fit, and the top "hook" is far to wide to hold the soprano. Another review here has the soprano sitting on the floor leaning against the stand, which is not how a sax stand works. As an Alto stand, its a great value, but this is NOT a stand you can use for a curved soprano.

Great stand for the cost .. easy to put together; however, there’s no instruction sheet or information contained in the box, at all .. and nothing found HERE on the purchase page. My 10 year old sat and stared at it with a puzzled look and said he hoped he had his sax sitting in it correctly and hoped he would get more comfortable with it, after using it .. a bit nerve racking at first, I guess. His sax was thousand$ while the stand was $15. Hope we made the right choice :D
